Inspections

Organisations are informed 24 hours in advance about which locations will be inspected, so that they can inform the residents in time about the home visit by the inspector. The inspector always visits the home together with a staff member from the organisation.

During the inspection, the inspector measures all rooms (including the bedroom), beds, cupboards and windows to check whether they meet the requirements. The inspector only measures and does not ask the occupants any questions; he also does not open any cupboards or drawers.
This inspection can be unpleasant for residents. However, it is in the residents' interest that the inspections are carried out properly.
